Term dates are set well in advance and agreed by Governors. We try to follow the dates set by Croydon Council for all Croydon schools, but we may have a slight variation as we take into consideration other local schools that siblings may attend (eg Surrey schools and Sutton schools).

Schools choose five INSET (staff training) days and these are shown on our tables in yellow. On these days, pupils do not attend school. Pupils have to attend on 190 days in an academic year (189 in 2010/11).

Parents should not take their children out of school for anything other than illness of the child. There are other circumstances where an absence would be authorised by the head teacher, such as an external exam, visiting a secondary school, or a family death. Please write to the head teacher requesting this.

Parents should not take children away from school for a holiday. The head teacher will only authorise holiday in exceptional circumstances. Please make any request directly to the head teacher in writing.

Term dates for 2011 - 2012 Available here - confirmed 15/06/10 (Please note that the traditional May Bank Holiday is on 4th June 2012, and 5th June 2012 is an additional Bank Holiday to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee which pushes the half-term week into June and NOT the end of May)

Term dates for 2012 - 2013 Available here. Please note five INSET days are still to be confirmed. INSET days will be set in collaboration with other local schools. Governors will then be able to confirm the dates for 2012-2013.

Term dates for 2013 - 2014 Available here. Please note five INSET days are still to be confirmed. INSET days will be set in collaboration with other local schools. Governors will then be able to confirm the dates for 2013-2014.
